Varśańasikta e sandhyáy
Ketakii parág jale bhese jáy Meghe d́háká cáṋd tabu dekhe mane hay Akátare se sudhá varaśáy |
With this pluvial evening,
On the rain screwpine spores go sailing. Moon is hidden by the clouds, but still in mind is seen: Ambrosia it showers ungrudgingly. |
Áṋdhár kuláye mayúr káṋde
Dekhite ná peye jyotsnár cáṋde Ashani garje túrja náde Dádur d́ákiyá jáy ajáná bháśay |
In gloomy nest the peacock weeps,
A luminous moon not having got to see. Active with trumpet-roar are bolts of lightning; And in tongue unknown, frogs keep calling. |
Sudúr mahákásh hátcháni dey
Siimár gańd́ii bheuṋge dite se shekháy Sabe bhule man ek-kei pete cáy Theke jáy shudhu tári bhávanáy |
The far-flung outer space is beckoning;
It educates to break constrictive boundaries. Forgetting everything, mind hankers for the One Only; It abides in thought of Him exclusively. |
El lejano espacio exterior hace señas;
