Páoyá ná páoyáy sukhe duhkhe háy
Din cale jáy akáje Phulera cáripáshe bhramará kii je áshe Gunguniye áse kii láje |
Alas, in getting or not getting pain or ease,
Days pass by with useless deeds. All around flowers, with what hope do bees Come and hum so bashfully? |
Sabára priyatama sabáre bhuláye
Marmamájháre tháko je lukáye Bhitare náhi cái báhire tákái Kasturiimrga sama je |
Most beloved of all, duping everybody,
You remain hidden in the core of our being. We look not internally but rather externally, In the same manner as the musk deer.[nb2] |
Jáhárá thákibe ná táder áshepáshe
Ghúre mari miche kena je kii áshe Moha bheuṋge dáo more t́ene náo Ámáre rákho tava sakáshe |
Amid that which won't endure, here and there,
Expecting what, why do people roam uselessly? Shatter my illusion, and draw me near; Keep me in Your holy proximity. |
