Ámi tomár tare kichu kari ni
Tumi mor tare sab kichu karecho Ámi tomár áloy kálo d́helechi Tumi áṋdhár saráye álo enecho |
For You I did not do a bit;
For me You have done everything. Upon Your effulgence, sable I have spilled; Darkness removing, You have brought light-beams. |
Por Ti no he hecho nada;
Por mí Tú lo has hecho todo. Sobre Tu refulgencia, sable he derramado; Quitando la oscuridad, Tú has traído rayos de luz. |
Tumi phule phale tarulatá bharecho
Ámi sei phul phal tule niyechi (Tumi) Duháte diyecho ámi niyechi Tabu tumi diye calecho |
With fruits and blooms, the plants You've filled,
But those same fruits and flowers I have repealed. With two hands, You've endowed, I've accepted; Notwithstanding, You have gone on giving. |
Con frutos y flores, las plantas Tú has llenado,
Pero esos mismos frutos y flores Yo he derogado. Con dos manos, Tú has dotado, Yo he aceptado; No obstante, Tú has seguido dando. |
Vidyá diyecho buddhi diyecho
Path calivár pátheya diyecho (Ámi) Tomár sampade samrddha haye Tomáke upeksá karechi Tumi dekhe gecho mrdu hesecho |
Knowledge You have given, and understanding;
The route You have given, and cash for traveling. By Your wealth, myself, having been enriched, I have taken You for granted; You have kept watching, and You've laughed tenderly. |
Conocimiento Tú has dado, y entendimiento;
La ruta Tú has dado, y dinero para viajar. Por Tu riqueza, yo mismo, habiéndome enriquecido, Te he dado por sentado; Tú has seguido observando, y Te has reído tiernamente. |
