Bright purity making pour, You had gone.

Distracted had I been by vain delusion,

My secret thoughts and feelings You had fathomed.

En una noche de luna llena, Tú habías venido;

Derramando brillante pureza, Tú te habías ido.

Yo había estado distraído por vanas ilusiones,

Tú habías desentrañado mis pensamientos y sentimientos secretos.

Se nishá ki jiivane ásibe ná ár

Se ráká ki manane hásibe ábár

Se shasháuṋka átauṋka sariye diye

Maner mayúre ki nácábe mantrabale

In life, won't that night re-appear?

Con capullos recién brotados se mece una rama de algodón sedoso;
